2. Summer Shipping Policy
At Parré Chocolat, it is our top priority to make sure our chocolate arrives to you in the same condition as when it left our facility.
For shipments to warm weather destinations and during our local warm weather months (May – October), we take extra precautions and package our chocolate with frozen gel packs and insulated thermal packaging at an additional cost of $4.50. We never use styrofoam.
During these occasions we will only ship orders on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (in order to prevent your chocolates from sitting in the heat over the weekend).
We recommend you provide us with an address where someone can accept the package in person so that it will not be left outside in direct sunlight and heat for a prolonged period of time.
At Parré, we strive to take as many precautions as we reasonably can to preserve the quality of our chocolate before it leaves our facility. However, once the shipment is in the shipping carrier's hands, it is out of our control. We cannot be held responsible for melted chocolate during shipment.
