How should I store them?

Your chocolates should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place (for example, an air-conditioned room is perfect) Ideally, where the temperature is between (60°F to lower than room temp). Generally, for all our products refrigeration is not necessary, so long as the storage area is below 74°F and away from direct heat and sunlight. Chocolate is susceptible to temperature, external odors and flavorings, air and light, moisture, and time.

Why is my chocolate turning white, and is it safe to consume?

When chocolate turns white, we call this transition "blooming." Blooming is the whitish film that can form on the surface of chocolate. It is very common and is actually the cocoa butter or fat within the chocolate rising to the surface.

Fat bloom is usually caused when the chocolate is exposed to a change in temperature. The cocoa butter separates from the chocolate and rises to the surface creating the white appearance.

Not to worry, bloomed chocolate is completely safe to eat and the taste is normally unaffected.
